Spring is doing spring things, and we hope your fermenters are doing fermenter things.

Big thanks to everyone who made it out for the April General Meeting. Great conversations, good beer, and plenty of inspiration for warm-weather brewing.

Shoutout to club members in the National Homebrew Competition: Susan took home a gold and a silver, and Andrew brought home a gold. Huge congratulations!

Our monthly social night is this Friday at Happy Hour - Wren House. No agenda, no pressure — just a good chance to catch up with club folks and talk beer.

Looking ahead to May, keep an eye on the calendar for the May General Meeting, plus a busy Saturday with Highway Cleanup and ClarkdALE Brewfest. We’re also celebrating AHA Big Brew at Wren House on May 2 — it’s a nationwide homebrew event put on by the American Homebrewers Association. Brewing kicks off around 10am and the Prairie Patio opens at 1pm.

We’ve also launched the new calendar on the website at /events. Going forward, that page is the source of truth for club events, and we will no longer keep the public Google Calendar updated — with the exception of board meetings. You can subscribe to the calendar feed directly in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or any app that supports iCal — just hit the subscribe button on the /events page and events will appear automatically.

Lazy G Club Competition entries can be submitted through May 14 — please coordinate with John Allen if you have questions or need help getting your entries in.
